GE announced new wind turbine installations

The General Electric Company is augmenting wind turbine technology and introduced a new wind turbine installation in Japan, designed particularly to suit the weather conditions in the country. The turbine has the potential to generate high power output of 2.85 megawatt power capacity and rotors of 103 meter in diameter. Specifically designed to tolerate the weather conditions in the country, the turbine can endure extreme turbulences in the environment.


The wind turbines are ready to be installed in farms as they fulfill all criteria and safety standards under Japan Electric Utility Industry Law as well the country’s construction and building laws. For more info, visit
