Inox Wind Limited receives over Rs 900 crore order from Singapore-based Continuum Wind Energy

Inox Wind Limited (IWL), a subsidiary of Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited (GFL), has bagged an Rs 900 crore order from a subsidiary of Morgan Stanley to build wind power complexes of 170 MW capacity in Madhya Pradesh. 

The project is to be constructed in and around Ratlam and Mandsaur districts of Madhya Pradesh. The order is for 85 units of Innox wind’s recently launched 2 MW wind turbine with 100 metre rotor diameter.

The order, valued in excess of Rs 900 crore, is one of the largest wind turbine orders in the country for a single project, a release issued by IWL, a part of over US $ 2 billion Inox Group, involved in diverse businesses including industrial gases, refrigerants, chemicals, renewable energy and entertainment among others, reportedly said.
